The Activities Director is responsible for organizing and overseeing the athletic programs, clubs, fine arts, and co-curricular programs.
Essential Duties:

• Supervises staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures, and maintains a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Oversees the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures for the department, or as directed by the Superintendent or the Board.
• Coordinates the scheduling of athletic, fine arts and club events. Communicates with students, staff, parents, and the community on issues concerning eligibility, event schedules, complaints, and related correspondence
• Administers and monitors related budgets to ensure fair and consistent spending practices.
• Develops, coordinates, attends and supervises, or ensures adequate supervision of athletic events, co-curricular activities, and related affairs.
• Maintains and monitors student eligibility and processes related reports.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, School Administration or a related field and five years of teaching experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
